The internship as perfect preparation for your top job after graduation
During the break between the second and third semesters, students complete a paid 12 weeks internship in a tourism-related company. Options include hotels, restaurants, accounting firms, revenue management, international organizations, and consulting agencies.

How can I contact the College directly?

Where can I stay when I attend the tourism college in Bad Gleichenberg?
As a student of the college, you can decide for yourself where you would like to live during your training. The place offers some possibilities, but the most comfortable is certainly to rent a room in the single and double rooms of the student house directly on campus.
What level of English is required for the course?
A proof of English language proficiency at level B2 is required for admission to the college programme.
Will I get a place?
All you need is your high school graduation certificate and an interview which can also take place digitally via Zoom. There are still places available for the coming academic year which starts at the end of September.
When can I start earning money?
Soon after starting, students work at events and learn how do work in tourism. A paid internship follows after the first year. With the diploma, you can work worldwide or continue with a Bachelor’s degree before starting your career.
Will I definitely be finished in 2 years?
At the college you will have a fixed place in all
classes and if you are motivated and pass all your
exams, you will complete your training in 2 years.
What are the requirements?
You either need the Austrian Matura certificate or
an equivalent international certificate (ABI). Non-native
English speakers are required to show proficiency in English by obtaining a recognized qualification
equivalent to the B2 level
